Edify.cx is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to everyone, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments. We’re constantly working towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.
During the development phase of our website, we aim to improve the accessibility of our website for users with disabilities by:
Retaining the ability to adjust the font size
Maintaining color/contrast ratios for text
Providing keyboard accessible navigation
Providing skip to content links at the top of the page
Exposing information to the accessibility API through the use of ARIA attributes
Our goal is to deliver a web experience that achieves “Level AA” conformance according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v2.1 (WCAG 2.1).
We realize that all areas of our website are not yet fully accessible. Our ongoing efforts to make improvements include rolling out new and updated features. We appreciate you being patient with us as we get this website up to the proper WCAG 2.1, AA standards.
We are also working to remediate known errors quickly and efficiently. We are aware of the following issues:
It is not always possible to skip repeated content in the page header in some areas
Images do not have alt-text descriptions and thus cannot be read on a screen reader
Audio and video files lack transcriptions
Archived PDF files are not fully accessible to screen-reader software
Screen readers cannot skip main content in some areas
Parts of the site do not currently have keyboard shortcuts implemented
Our website is compatible with most major Internet browsers including Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Our website may not perform optimally on Internet Explorer and older browser versions.
Edify.cx engages in regular automated testing, manual audits, and user testing to assess and improve accessibility.
